Tummy tuck & Buttock fat transfer, what is first

Brazilian Butt Lift and Tummy Tuck

First of all, the Brazilian Buttocks Lift is a GREAT procedure when done correctly. I have never had an unhappy patient and have done many. From looking at your picture, I would probably recommend performing both the tummy tuck and Brazilian at the same time. You don’t look as though you have a lot of fat to donate to your buttocks. Performing these procedures at the same time allows me to remove even more fat from the area of abdominal skin that is going to be removed during your tummy tuck and use that fat for your buttocks.

This usually provides me a substantially greater volume of fat to inject into your buttocks, providing an even better result. (Daniel P. Markmann, MD, Baltimore Plastic Surgeon)

Do both tummy tuck and brazilian butt lift at the same time

Tummy tuck and fat transfer to hips

You clearly need adequate fat to perform a buttock lift with a fat transfer. If the procedures are performed together, you can accomplish your goals with one stage. Liposuction would be performed on your lower and lateral abdomen.

Liposuction would also be done on your hips and flanks. The washed fat would be injected into the buttock. The lax skin from the liposuction of the abdomen would then be removed with a mini or standard tummy tuck. It would take a significant recovery, but would achieve your desired goals (David A. Dreyfuss, MD, Orland Park Plastic Surgeon)

I Would Combine All the Procedures

I would first perform the liposuction and tummy tuck, then prepare all the fat from both the lipo AND the skin/fat that was removed from your tummy. A lot more fat can be removed from the tummy skin than with liposuction, and with much less trauma.

Tummy tuck and hips

This would give you one downtime and one exposure to anesthesia. Even using all your available fat, however, I agree that you will have a modest improvement in your buttock contour as you are a thin individual. (John LoMonaco, MD, FACS, Houston Plastic Surgeon)

I think you are a good candidate for both surgeries. I would recommend doing both at the same time. Fat is obtained from the abdomen, Hips, flanks and back to inject into the buttocks.ana an abdominoplasty done at the same time. That combination and the liposuction will give you the figure you desire. (Samir Shureih, MD, Baltimore Plastic Surgeon)

Forget the but lift – it is not a good procedure. The tummy tuck is great and will give you a good result. But look at the satisfaction index re butt lifts. They are usually not worth it. (William B. Rosenblatt, MD, New York Plastic Surgeon)
