My doc gave me the ok to moisturize now and that’s what I use. I’m a week post tummy tuck operation tomorrow. I didn’t think to ask about ones specifically though

I was only ok’d to use stuff specifically for scars. I’m 3 weeks post tummy tuck operation.

Belly Button Question: Okay, 3 weeks today I had tummy tuck surgery, and today when I took off my binder to take a shower I noticed almost all of my scabs had come off. It is a little red, but not infection red, not sore, nothing icky at all. I decided to try something. I put some polysporin on it with a band-aide. I am curious to see if this helps it heal even faster. I am so pleased so far with the little thing…lol

    Use coconut oil it’s incredible

  6. Vicki says:

Oh, and I have coconut oil! thanks!

  7. Amanda says:

Def coconut oil. Polysporin is designed to pull anything out of your skin that shouldn’t be there, not necessarily help it heal.

  8. Vicki says:

thanks…I didn’t know that Amanda. What about triple antibiotic?

can you take caps off? Hard to read. Will it cost you anything?

  11. Vicki says:

no he said he would revise it at no cost but i also did muscle repair he said he could go behind pelvic bone and tighten more i just want some gaurantee that i will be flat

  12. Amanda says:

A lot of times they have to go in for a revision. It’s more common than people think but from what I hear it’s not nearly as painful.
