Tummy tuck and cough
So I just had a tummy tuck yesterday and I need go cough but I’m afraid I’m gonna rip apart. What’s the easiest way to cough? I have no pain whatsoever unless I need to cough.

Hug a pillow real tight to your stomach when you have to cough.

I cleared my throat instead of coughing
to me the pillow didn’t work cause it still feel everything was still moving. .. To Me I folder up lik if im sitting down I bring my chest into my lap u can even bring yur leg up a lil to meet u half way..if I standing I was do the same way but bring my leg up..it’s just mAde me feel lik everything wasn’t moving or shaking at once but tha was the perfect way for me.. n I still kind of do it now n I’m 4week post op. .

that’s the best way or I take I hands if I can’t make tha position fast enough n I wrap my hands round stomach right to left left to right lik I’m Holding myself n bend down.. bringing everything together…
I’d get on my side and curl up with a pillow to my tummy and cough as gently as I could. Otherwise try some cough syrup, honey or a hard candy to moisten your throat.
I suck a throat sweet as soon as a cough feeling comes on ! Xx
Get couch drops or suger free candy. Vitamins drops
put ice cubes in your mouth.(crushed ice) I walked around with ice for the first 6 weeks everywhere I went. if you have to cough- cough exhaling if that makes sense- just DONT inhale as you cough.

I feel your pain, coughing, sneezing, and laughing is rough after a tummy tuck. Holding pressure on your stomach with your hands will help some, but it eases up throughout the week. I was lucky enough to get a cold within a week of the surgery so I have had a blast.
Try to just clear ur throat constantly like a cat lol… That’s what I sounded like
