Thank you for your question.  as you can imagine it is very difficult to provide an absolute answer without doing an exam.  capsular contracture has 4 grades.  Grade 4 is distinguished from the others because of the presence of pain.  it appears that you also have is difference in your inframammary folds.  this difference would result in a difference in the height of the the implant on the chest wall.  i always recommend giving your plastic surgeon an opportunity to correct post opera…

You have what is called “contour irregularity” after liposuction.  This can happen if liposuction is not blended appropriately or if you have excess skin that does not contract. This is something that can potentially be corrected with repeat revision liposuction. I would recommend you see your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to go over your concerns and options in person. Hello and thank you for your question. Yes it is possible to exchange your current implants for a larger implant. I normally tell my patients to wait about 3 months for the swelling and healing prior to re-operation of the same area. I also advise my patients that an exchange for anything less than 100cc is not advisable because you will not see the difference. Thank you for your question. You are still very early on in your recovery and healing. I would not make any decisions about the final outcome of your surgery until at least 3-6months. At that time if you feel that they are still too big, you may opt to exchange them for a smaller size. Good Luck!

Thank you for your question. Based on your photos and that you have had children, I would recommend a Tummy Tuck with Liposuction of the Flanks. This will yield the best results and be the most long lasting. Liposuction addresses fat whereas Tummy Tuck removes excess skin and fixes the separation of your abdominal muscles which is common with childbirth. Hi Thank you for your question. ALCL is a known risk but very, very small. It has only been associated with Textured Implants which most PS have discontinued using. Natrelle Soft Touch by Allergan is a great implant! If you have not yet been on a consultation, I would recommend doing so. Thank you for your question. Without seeing pre and post op photos it is hard to adequately address your concerns. I tell my patients that all breasts are ‘sisters not twins’ meaning that no two breast are identical. At 3 months post-op there are still some changes that can occur. Hello. Is it possible for you to speak with your PS in Mexico? If not, I would call local PS in your area to see if they would be willing to see you in the office. Most surgeons charge for this type of consult. This is one issue with having surgery in another country. Good Luck!

Hi! Yes, lumpiness and unevenness is common at only 2 weeks. In my experience the skin contraction can cause these uneven contours that usually resolve at 1-3 months. You are still very swollen and early on in your recovery process. I would recommend that you continue to wear your compression garment and massage any hard areas. If you still are concerned, I would seek advice from your Plastic Surgeon during an in-person evaluation.  Good Luck!

Thank you for your question. Another option I offer to my patients is Singular (allergy medication) that has been show to help resolve Capsular Contractures coupled with aggressive massage. Capsular contractures are more statistically common when implants are placed above the muscle. I personally place almost all of my implants sub-muscular.
