In regards to your scar, if you feel like the laser is helping then keep doing it. Your surgeon may also be able to do a scar revision at a later date when you are all healed from your augmentation. Your sensitivity may still come back over time. Whatever your sensation is when you are a year out from surgery is usually the best that it will get. Once you have plateaued with your weight loss you should have no problem receiving a body lift. You should have your primary care physician clear you prior to surgery. Age alone doesn’t exclude you from this type of surgery. Good Luck

Wow what an amazing weight loss. My advice for you would be to make several consultation with Board certified Plastic Surgeons in your area and see who you like and what pricing may be. Based on your pictures I think you don’t “need” any surgery. You should loose the next 20lbs that you want to and then see how you feel. If you have extra skin in your tummy area then a tummy tuck is an option. While doing a tummy tuck you could also have some flank liposuction to help smooth out your love handles. Amazing weight loss!Due to your massive weight loss, you have excessive skin that will not improve with diet and exercise alone. If you want the skin removed you will need surgery. A thigh lift would be great for you. Since I can’t see the rest of your body I can’t comment, but all of my weight loss patients have needed a body lift and arm lifts as well. Hi and thank you for your question. When you have bruising after a procedure it does not necessarily mean that you have a hematoma. This is not an easy thing to discern through photos and you need an actual exam. If you are worried about this then you should follow-up with your board certified Plastic Surgeon.

Hi and thank you for your question. The management of the drains is done by general surgery if it was just a mastectomy and by the Plastic Surgery team if a reconstruction was performed. We tend to be conservative with keeping the drains in until the drainage has decreased to less than 30ml/day for 2-3 days. It does depend on how long ago your surgery was to determine if any of your volume will go away when swelling resolves.
