Great question. Getting the incision wet or submerged is reserved for at least a week post op. Swimming as exercise I ask my patients to refrain from for at least 6-8 weeks. I would be careful of hot tubs that are public and you are unsure of how well they are cleaned and maintained. Would hate for you to get an infection after your well deserved surgery. Best of luck.

After breast augmentation surgery I typically release my patients to wear an under wire bra at 6-8 weks depending how they are healing. It may also be the length of time you are wearing an underwire bra. May be cut the time down to 4 hours an gradually build up to all day. Also be sure that you are wearing the right size for you.
