Picture is not very clear, left side appears larger than the right side, depends how did it look before the surgery.This can happen ,good thing is that it can be fixed. I would recommend seeing your surgeon again,looks like you already spoke with them and they have agreed to revise it. Good luck.

Stithces can take up to 4 weeks to disssolve,depending on what’s used. Monocryl dissolvesvfaster than vicryl. If you started period,keep the area clean and dry. You can rinse with just plain water,no rubbing and pat it dry. change liners more frequently.

Mild pain and discomfort is normal at 6 weeks, If the pain is getting better everyday then I would not worry. You can use ice pack, take tylenol (if not allergic). If the pain is worsening then see your doctor. At 6 weeks, healing process is still going on. watch out fo rany redness or bleeding.

Looking at the pictures, I donnot see any signs of infection but if you have any itchiness,swelling or pain then I would recommend going back to the surgeon. If you have any vaginal discharge then your doctor can make sure that there is no vaginal infection and you can be treated. Keep the area clean and dry.
