Hello tdomingo6 and thank you for your question. Implant selection is based on your desired shape and size along with your breast and chest measurements. I think pictures speak for themselves. Bring several photos of “wish” breasts (on women with your frame) to your consultation.  In addition, you could look for a surgeon with 3D imaging.  This allows you and your doctor to get an estimate of what implant profile will fit your frame to give you the results you desire. Hello Dhathri and thank you for your question.  Swelling with a tummy tuck can take several months to resolve. It’s likely your abdomen will continue to flatten some with time but if you remain concerned you should followup with your plastic surgeon to address your concerns.

It usually takes several months for your skin to stretch to accommodate the new implant. It can be difficult to be patient but with a little time your shape and symmetry will continue to improve.

Hello Hopefulmommyof3 and thank you for your question.  The yellow that you are seeing on your breast is likely bruising from your surgery that is starting to heal. After a bruise the hemoglobin and blood cells begin to break down and a sequence of colors develop. The yellow color is a sign the healing process is in it’s final stage and should resolve within a few days.

Hello vickc08 and thank you for your question.  It is possible to reduce the size of your areola and raise the nipple position slightly with a periareolar mastopexy (incision around the areola only). This type of lift will only lift the nipple position slightly so it is best to discuss your goals with a board certified plastic surgeon near you.

Hello Jesse2013,Thank you for your question and photos.  It appears you have a contracted right breast with the breast tissue falling over the implant and a less severe left breast contracture/ptosis.  I would not suggest placing large implants (I consider 500cc to 600cc large) as they will continue to place traction and pressure on your breast tissue and skin for years to come.  Unfortunately, I think your best option is a lift and procedure to address your contracture.  Revision surge…

Hello break,Thank you for your question and photos.  It is a bit confusing, but silicone gel (gummy bear) implants are used for breast surgery only.  The FDA approved implants for butt augmentation are a soft, but solid implant and are not referred to as gummy bear.  You are correct that placing fat over top and putting the implants behind the muscle instead of the fascia will likely “soften” the feel.  Please visit your local board-certifiede plastic surgeon for further advice.

Hello LI question,Absolutely.  Photos would help; however, I can say that all my patients have “high and tight” breasts after a lift.  Often, one might sit a bit higher especially if more work is done to that side.  Keep in close contact with your surgeon as he/she will guide you through your recovery.

Hello chrysmc,Thank you for your question.  I have seen pre-operative sizing performed with 3D digital imaging, sizing implants and/or bras filled with rice/sand/sugar.  The most accurate is 3D Vector imaging in my opinion.

Tubular breasts are characterized by: (1) a tight lower pole (distance from the nipples down to the fold), (2) breast tissue pushing the nipples outward, and (3) constrictive bands inside your breasts that prevent them from expanding. Hello softee101,Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear you are noticing asymmetry after breast feeding.  It is possible to have a ruptured implant without having any noticeable signs, especially if you have silicone gel devices.  When a saline implant fails, the salt water is resorbed by your body and your implant loses considerable volume.  This is clearly noticeable.  When a silicone implant fails, the gel is not resorbed so you will not notice a volume change.  Breast feed…
