This is a great question. There is no restriction on activities two weeks after getting fillers so there is no reason not to travel. Please keep in mind that you may have some bruising and swelling after your injectable treatment that may last up to 7 days. To minimize these possible side effects be sure to discontinue fish oils, aspirin and any other blood thinning agents. Taking oral arnica pellets and applying arnica gel daily post treatment may help minimize any bruising. Safe travels!

Thank you for your question. There are certain chemical peels that can help lighten dark spots around the lips. We also recommend a series of IPL treatments spaced every 4-6 weeks. Since the area around the lips is quite delicate it is important to use a skilled provider with extensive experience. This is a great question. The best approach is to start with a very conservative and mild approach to not irritate your skin. First off you should start using a daily broad spectrum sunscreen even if you are not outdoors all day. I would recommend starting with a very gentle peel (10% glycolic or less) to see how your skin reacts. If you skin tolerates the peel, then the next time do you a slightly stronger peel. Good luck!
