The golden rule of recovery is to take it easy and listen to your body. In most cases, we recommend light walks and limited activity for the first 2 weeks, be careful not to lift objects greater than 10 lbs. If the activity you're doing is causing additional pain or discomfort, simply stop doing it and listen to your body. After about 6 weeks you should be able to resume normal activities but it's recommended to get clearance from your surgeon first.

The incisions should be well healed and the scar should be matured, meaning that if you'd like to wear a bikini at that time it shouldn't be an issue. Hello,Compression bands or garments, as you may know, are worn for the first few months after ones surgery. In your case, it may not be necessary to wear the compression band since you're a couple years out from your procedure. Pregnancy can cause laxity of skin and abdominal muscles and alter the results of your procedure. In short, you may not be as satisfied with the outcome of the procedure after your pregnancy.
