Liposuction most often doesn’t remove all the fat cells from a certain location. It removes most of it from the deep fat layer and some places also the superficial. Depends on the techniques used by your surgeon.If it happens that you gain weight, some of the remaining cells will get bigger, but usually following the new shape created by the surgeon

Compression garments are a very important part of the postoperative time.They will help you during the recovery period, reduce swelling, could prevent seromas formation, and make you feel more comfortable.They feel snug during the immediate postoperative time, but eventually become looser, they will do the job anyway, unless they stretched too much and may need to change for a new one.I recommend my patients to use it at least for 6 weeks.Hope this answer you question, good luck
