It is much safer to do (3) three-hour procedures than it is to do (1) nine-hour procedure. High waist bikini bottoms should be enough but it wouldn’t hurt to cover your belly button with a Band-aid for added protection. Thank you for your question.I would recommend that you have the mole surgically excised and examined by a pathologist to be sure that there is nothing there that you should be concerned about. With surgical excision, the mole is removed down to the root which lessens the risk for recurrence and, in my experience, results in the best scar.

Typically, at 3 days post-op, you’ll still be sore and unable to do much of anything. Thank you for your question.Flying at 2 weeks post-op should not be an issue but I definitely recommend being seen and cleared by your surgeon before making the trip.I would strongly recommend that you not carry a 25 lb. bag at 2 weeks post-op. I instruct my patients to refrain from lifting, pushing or pulling any items weighing more than 10 lbs. for at least 4-6 weeks.
