Great question!  I wouldn’t worry about working out before surgery.  Your surgeon will definitely give you instructions as to when and how much exercise you can do postoperatively.  Typically, I do not allow my patients to do “heavy” exercise for 3-4 weeks postop.  Walking is encouraged immediately.

Sounds like you may have developed capsular contracture.  That could cause your breasts to be hard.  There are other reasons, of course, so your best course of action would be to see your original surgeon or a board-certified Plastic Surgeon.

Great question!Sleeping on your back is sometimes very hard for some patients.  I recommend four weeks of back sleeping.  Additionally, I like my patients to wear their postop bra for 4 weeks including when they sleep.  This gives the breasts some support should they turn to the side by accident. Great question!  I get this question a lot.I like my patients to start walking right after surgery.  I understand that exercise keeps many people “sane” and staying in the right frame of mind will help recovery.  That being said, you don’t want to push yourself too early.  The sweat and exertion can cause blood and fluid collections, infections and fungal rashes. I don’t typically recommend massaging breasts after routine breast augmentation. If a patient has a history of capsular contracture, I recommend gently moving the implant in the pocket once everything has healed (around 3-4 weeks postop).  This is usually in combination with Singulair, as well.Remember to always have your aesthetic breast surgery with a board-certified Plastic Surgeon!

The swelling you describe is completely normal.  An initial concern for asymmeteric swelling with bruising could be a hematoma, but that usually happens within the first days and this doesn’t sound like that.I tell my patients to plan on swelling for at least 6 months.  After that, I have them go get a “good” bra fitting at Nordstrom and buy a good quality bra.  As you know, bra sizes vary with manufacturer, so if you are hoping for a C cup, it may be a different size based on the bra.  …

I think 3 months is too soon.  What I tell my patients after microfat injection is that what they see at 4 months, should be permanent.  If there are some deficits after that,then we will schedule another injection.  They are aware before the first injection that they may require several injections.

Unfortunately, you cannot use someone else's fat.  That is a question that is asked of me quite often.  If you don't have any belly fat, very often the inner thigh contains a fair amount to use for microfat injection.

Looking at your pictures, you like like a great candidate for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck).  That would remove the redundant skin, the "pooch" by tightening the abdomen and give you a much improved sculpted look.  Liposuction would leave all of that redundant skin, the abdominal wall laxity would not be treated and you might feel dissatisfied.

I wouldn't worry about putting anything on the scar one month after surgery.  If your scar is getting red and raised, you should consider massaging it.  I give many patients Cordran tape to put on their scar.  Your plastic surgeon should make those ultimate decisions.

All surgeries require an incision and from that a scar forms.  However, an otoplasty incision is usually well hiddent behind the ear.  This incision can be used to pin the ear back and reduce the conchal bowl/ fullness in the middle part of the ear

Of course there are Plastic Surgeons that work on adults with Clefts!  That is a large portion of my practice.  What you should look for is a craniofacial trained plastic surgeon (board-certified) that actively operates on patients with facial differences.
