Thank you for your question. By your photo it appears that you have mild right upper lid ptosis. This is a functional issue and can result from a few different anatomic things. Starting with the ABPS database is good, you should always make sure your plastic surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Many aesthetics surgeons just hold a Certificate in Aesthetics and did not complete an ABMS accredited plastic surgery training program. Thank you for your inquiry. What you describe is common. It is typically the result of some coagulated blood and serum. It is part of the natural healing process for a tummy tuck. Sometimes this gets caught in the tubing and presents as this “worm”.  At this point it’s important to monitor for any persistent bleeding, evidence of infection, and to make sure the drains continue to work. Thank you for your inquiry. First it is difficult to answer any question when the picture is of someone in a bra. Second as it is only been  two days things will change and settle into place over the coming weeks and months. Third typically implants do a ride high and then drop in to place with time which sounds like what you are  describing. Be patient and discuss these things with your surgeon on your next follow up.

 Thank you for your question. It is quite difficult to tell bottoming out based on the photos you provided. It would be helpful To have a front view and preoperative photos. As far as for capsular contraction there is no evidence visually and typically the diagnosis is made by clinical valuation. I suggest going to see your surgeon to discuss these concerns.

Floating the umbilicus can be the best option for some, but most patients get the best result from a full tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). You appear to be a good candidate for a full approach and I’m concerned a umbilical float will either give you a suboptimal result or an umbilicus that appears too low. To get a more “natural ” augmentation a conservative approach will probably achieve your desired results. Get an implant in the 325-375cc range that matches your breast measurements. Breast feeding is usually not an issue if you were able to breast feed otherwise and for this reason I would avoid and incision around the nipple.

Thank you for your question. Mild bleeding is not unusual as the ear is very vascular. Just pinch the earlobe with two fingers for approximately 10 minutes. This should stop the bleeding. If it doesn’t, then repeat until it does.

Wedge Method Vs Trim Method for Labiaplasty?

Thank you for the question. The trim method is a direct linear excision while the wedge is more of a vertical excision. The best method depends on where the labia redundancy is most prominent. Typically I use the wedge technique but do adjust things to address specific patient needs.

In your pictures your arms are up so it’s hard to evaluate things. Also having pictures before the implant exchange would be helpful. In general I do suggest that you wait the full 6 months after surgery, but most likely a lift will give you a better shape then changing the implants again.

Thank you for your question. Symmastia is more likely/common with implant being placed above the muscle. Based on your pictures you don’t currently have true symmastia. Preop pictures would help. Things are still quite early and I suggest you discuss you concerns with your surgeon.
