You should know that without any therapy the hair loss will continue over your lifetime. The transplanted hairs will not fall out so you may be left with islands of hair. Depends on what type of scars you are talking about. If you have not had a procedure yet then only consider FUE as the scars are almost invisible to the naked eye. If you already have a strip scar then tattoo with skin pigments can help but it is almost always going to be noticeable. Scar excision with the Neograft can help as well. Good luck

Number of grafts needed are really about what your goals are. If you want a full head of hair it will not be possible given the amount of hair loss you have. If you want a hair line and some coverage I think it is possible to achieve but you will need more than one procedure. Its hard to give a specific number since we can not see you donor area. Its tough to tell what the issue is with out pictures. Generally the hair we transplant is from the back and sides of the head. This hair is genetically programmed not to fall out. I would venture to guess that your remaining hair is the transplanted hair and the hair you have lost is the native hair. If that’s the case you may need another transplant.
