Muscle Repair
If you have strong abs and they are positions close together, you may not need any tightening. If, however, when you sit up have a large bulge, then tightening the muscles will give you the best result. The recovery isn’t that much harder with muscle tightening. To get better results and flat abdomen it is necessary to do Muscle repair. To have a better evaluation is necessary extra information as weight, height and pictures.
Seek out a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience. You will need several more months to recover from your delivery and it would be best to try and get to your pre pregnancy weight. I hear your question quite a bit and sometimes not doing any muscle work makes sense.ie. the patient has great muscle tone already and no diastasis.
