Belly button after tummy tuck surgery
Is this normal??? I have no idea if this is how it’s supposed to be healing or not.
I’m still really swollen, and Dra Duran said not to put anything (like a marble to shape the belly button hole) until 1 month tummy tuck post op.
I’m about 2.5wks, but I don’t know if this is how it’s supposed to look or not.

I pack my belly button I was told to put gauze in mine to keep it from closing up

Yeah mine was like that but it rounds itself out after about 4 to 6 weeks

Yes its normal. mine looks exactly the same I am 3.5 weeks post op. I was told to put gauze but also let it air some to help with healing.
I packed mine with cotton to shape it every since day 1 just put ointment inside and put cotton and a piece of tape over it

It’s swelling that’s compacting your bb. As your tummy goes down your bb will round out.
