Belly tuck

Tight Tummy Skin

Unfortunately, working out will not tighten loose abdominal skin.

Neither will massaging, or any of the other gimmicks. Continue working out, as this will help prevent weight gain.

Perhaps your situation will change, and an abdominoplasty (belly tuck) might be possible in your future. (Kenneth D. Christman, MD)

How can I fix my tummy?

Belly tuck is a surgical technique to remove that belly that does not respond to diet or exercise. But the pictures you show us is not sufficient for a diagnosis, so you need to be evaluated by a certified plastic surgeon (Tania Medina de Garcia, MD, Dominican Republic Plastic Surgeon)

Candidate for belly tuck

You are very fit, but still have a lot of loose skin. This is what I call the “deceptive tummy.” It looks great standing up, but the looseness shows up when you bend over, do a plank or sit.

If you are not ready for a belly tuck, radiofrequency treatments like Exilis can improve it some, but it will never be as tight as it would be with a belly tuck. (Donald Griffin, MD, Nashville Plastic Surgeon)

There may not be a great answer to improve the skin without a belly tuck of some sort

Not sure you are a candidate for a Tummy tuck operation. You need in person examinations. (Darryl J. Blinski, MD, Miami Plastic Surgeon)

Not sure the best treatment course with the photographs provided.

Belly tuck candidate

Left photograph demonstrates a fairly nice-looking abdomen. The right when shows redundant skin. And abdominoplasty certainly would be a consideration but in your particular case a physical examination would be necessary before making that recommendation. (Vincent N. Zubowicz, MD, Atlanta Plastic Surgeon)

Tummy options

It is difficult to tell from your photos what may be best option(s) for your abdomen. You may very well need some form of a belly tuck.

However, if this is not in your budget at th is time, you may be candidate for a non-invasive, radio frequency based, series of treatments such as VelaShape, Venus, or other modalities. You should consult with an American Board of Plastic Surgery certified plastic surgeon about your concerns and options. (Todd C. Case, MD, Tucson Plastic Surgeon)
