Brazilian butt lift tummy tuck
TT and BBL
My opinion is you are a perfect candidate for a Full Tummy Tuck and Muscle repair.
You do have flaccid skin and stretch marks on your abdomen that will be gone through the tummy tuck and the protruding shape I can see on the lateral view is due to the loose muscle, so you will need a Muscle repair to create a totally flat abdomen and tapered waist too.
The incision will be placed in a very low position (right above the pubic bone) in order to be easy to hide under a nice bikini.
Liposuction can be done on your back and a bit to waist in order to harvest fat and transfer into your butt, a nice volume which would match with your beautiful slender body.
Both procedures can be done together, just have to be extra careful on using a 100% of the time a boopy pillow under the butt and shifting positions will be required. Be encouraged. You will be looking amazing! (Laura Carmina Cardenas, MD, Mexico Plastic Surgeon)
Brazilian Butt Lift and a Tummy Tuck
You are a very good candidate for tummy tuck. However, if you are seeking to get butt lift tummy tuck done – you should do that first, heal and then proceed with tummy tuck – for best results. (Thomas Trevisani, Sr., MD, Orlando Plastic Surgeon)
Tummy tuck and BBL can be done together
These procedures can, and often are, done together. It does complicate the positioning afterwards but with proper positioning and instructions, it can be done.
Fat could also be harvested from the hips. It appears you need a full tummy tuck for the best results given the stretch marks and the bulge but exam is always necessary. (Daryl K. Hoffman, MD, Los Gatos Plastic Surgeon)
BBL and tummy tuck done together?
In my practice these are always separate procedures. One of the most important aspects of recovery after fat grafting in the buttock is keeping pressure off the grafted fat to allow it to establish a new blood supply. This is critically important. I have patients avoid sitting and sleep on their belly for a few weeks after the procedure. After a tummy tuck, there is no comfortable position that would not put inappropriate pressure on the buttock. (York Jay Yates, MD, Salt Lake City Plastic Surgeon)
I want a Brazilian Butt Lift and a Tummy Tuck. Would you recommend doing them together or as separate surgeries?
In our office it is very common to perform a tummy tuck and the butt lift tummy tuck simultaneously. This avoid a second operation, second aneshtesia and it allow for one recuperation. But you would need to be examined beforehand to be certain that this is advisable. (George Lefkovits, MD, New York Plastic Surgeon)
Tummy tuck and Brazilian Butt Lift at same time
You look like a good candidate for the procedure solely based on the photos (an exam is necessary of course to know for sure). In general, a tummy tuck and butt lift tummy tuck can be done at the same time. However, in my opinion, the best results come with staging the procedures. I like to do the butt lift tummy tuck first, as I can liposuction your entire trunk and harvest the maximal amount of fat possible to transfer. Many times that transfer of fat includes some fat to the sides. So I ask my patients not to sit and to sleep on their bellies or sides for at least two weeks to maximize fat graft survival.
This means sleeping on their belly. When you do a tummy tuck you will be sitting and sleeping on your back with your hips in a flexed position which puts pressure on your buttocks. Given that you need to be in this flexed position you can not lie on your belly after a tummy tuck. You do not want that pressure on your buttocks for the first couple of weeks after the fat transfer as this can flatted the buttocks and lead to more fat resorption.
So to answer your question, they can be done all at once, but for the best results I suggest you do the butt lift tummy tuck first followed by the tummy tuck a few weeks later. Some people only have time for one recovery period and that is fine as long as you understand that the results may be better to do them separately. Hope this helps and best of luck. (Luis H. Macias, MD, Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon)
BBL and tummy tuck
Any idea of how much fat your PS is planning on grafting? It may be that since you are pretty thin you will need all of the belly fat for transfer for the butt lift tummy tuck. If this is the case then I would separate the procedures and do the tummy tuck after you heal (6 mo). This will give you a better result in your tummy (fat already removed and just dealing with skin) and enough fat to transfer adequate volume to your buttocks. What does your PS think? (Mahlon Kerr, MD, FACS, Austin Plastic Surgeon)
