It is best if you haven’t had any sun exposure prior to your laser hair removal treatment. This is because you will run the risk of getting hyperpigmentation. Laser hair removal should be done when you are at your base skin tone. It is also important to avoid sun exposure after your treatment.

It is normal for hair to grow back in patches after your first laser hair removal treatment. It typically takes 6-10 sessions to get rid of most of the hair. Because the hair follicles grow in different cycles, you may need a maintenance treatment every year or so.
