You did not mention whether you were taking anything that would increase your chance of bruising ie Advil, Aleve, Vitamin E, Garlic, fatty acids, gingko biloba, cumarin.

I would definitely wait until after surgery to have your lips injected . You should ask the physician who is removing your tonsils how long he or she recommends you should wait . You don’t want to have any inflammation in your mouth when you have your lips injected .

You might be best off lifting the angles of your mouth with a combination of Botox injected along the jawline where are the depressor anguli Oris is and a filler in addition . If you clench your teeth very tightly and turn your lips down you may be able to feel this small muscle at your jawline .

Depending on who administered the botox you don’t know how much they diluted it . If it was diluted too much , then the results would not last very long . You need to see a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon that friends of yours have seen , and have had a good result
