Botox is really designed to treat dynamic lines, but it is those dynamic lines (the ones we make by moving our facial muscles) that over time lead to static lines. Most people do not walk around without making facial expressions so usually the 11s are more pronounced than when someone is not using their facial muscles at all. How Long Before Botox Results Can Be Seen?
Botox starts to work in 1-2 days but reaches full effect in 2 weeks
Jan 10, 2015
You may start to see a difference from Botox and other botulinum toxins including Dysport and Xeomin in several days, but it takes 2 weeks to achieve peak effect. It is usually helpful to follow up in 2 weeks for a touch up, especially if you are a first time patient. There is no limit to how many times you can get Botox and patients usually need treatment every 4-6 months since it does wear off.
