Brown spots and redness over a week after IPL?

Thank you for your question. After IPL treatment, sun spots will get darker and feel dry. It appears what you are experiencing is a normal result of the treatment. We often call this darkening 'peppering'. This typically resolves within two weeks. I would suggest moisturizing twice a day if you are not already doing so, as this will help the skin heal well as the brown spots dry up and lift off. You can still have some redness one week later. The redness and darkening should all resolve...
