Development of seroma after tummy tuck. How far post op ?

How far post op do u think u can develop a seroma after abdominoplasty?

    I wonder this too. I had one and had it drained 4 times. Now I have this stupid bulge above my scar and I swear there is one where I had lipo on my saddle bag. I’m 7 months post op after tummy tuck.

    I developed one at approx 12 weeks

    Not straight away but knew something wasn’t right, as it got bigger I was able to do the ripple test, if you tap it on one side it will ripple all the way across the area like a waterbed! That is generally how you tell it’s a seroma.

    I got mine after about 12 days of tummy tuck.
    I too have now a part that bulges just under belly button. I hate it.

    I have a wobbly areas above my navel which concerns me a little.

    My nurse said Dr will redo that area if it’s still like it at my review. Cause I can’t see it changing
