Liposuction is a great procedure to help contour the midsection/back/and anywhere on your body. You have a good frame and a natural hourlglass type figure. You would have enough fat for a BBL, but you would also have a nice buttocks with liposuction alone, there is no right answer. It all depends on your preferences. One thing to consider is the possibility of loose skin after liposuction. Some patients opt for skin removal and others opt for radiofrequency based tightening...

Smoothing out your shape may require correction of the underlying cellulite. This can be done through a number of treatments. Fat transfer rarely treats cellulite. Depending on the amount of fat that survives you may get the shape you desire but that would need a formal consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine what's best. Fat transfer surgery varies person to person depending on your metabolism and baseline shape. Congratulation on the weight loss and amazing...

Being a member or not being a member of an organization does not always speak to a surgeon's skillset. What' most important is are they board certified in plastic surgery by the ABPS (American Board of Plastic Surgery). Apart from that it comes down to your comfort level with the surgeon and your due diligence in research on that particular doctor prior to your procedure. Many doctors decide to join organizations such as ASPS later in their career and that's fine, but board...

Procedure costs vary from surgeon to surgeon and state to state. You can usually get a range for pricing by calling the surgeon's office you are interested in directly. A google search will also show you averages for typical procedures in plastic surgery.

You could just do liposuction if you wanted. You will still have bulging muscles under the skin from prior pregnancy and the loose skin you see when you bend over will still remain. Some women who want to avoid a TT do liposuction with or without a skin tightening procedure. If they are unhappy with the loose skin afterwards they may return for a TT. Make sure you know all of your possible options before making a decision about surgery.

An hourglass shaped is most dependent on your body's bone and muscle structure, particularly your ribs, intercostal (waist) muscles, and your hip bones. Depending on how these all align determines your final shape, along with the surgeon's liposuction technique to remove fat from these areas during surgery. The majority of plastic surgeons don't use mesh during this procedure but a fair number do. To my knowledge there is no scientific research that shows the importance of mesh...

Swelling after abdominoplasty surgery is extremely common and can persist well beyond a year. The body's lymphatic system is disrupted during a tummy tuck. Until this normalizes again you will have ongoing swelling, some days worse than others. Also, depending on the extent of liposuction you had (if any) during your surgery, your swelling may persist longer than others. What some perceive as swelling could also be residual fat under the abdominal skin as well-this can...

Umbilical floating allows you to keep your same belly button while also getting full muscle repair of your abdomen. The belly button often sits a little lower than it is now after the surgery. This procedure is especially helpful in patients with a naturally high belly button and minimal loose abdominal skin. With a mini tummy tuck the belly button is (usually) not moved and the muscle above the belly button are (usually) not repaired but it vareis from provider to provider....

Depending on your surgeon's technique, you may have permanent muscle repair sutures that are now able to be felt under your thin skin. In patients with larger fat deposits under the skin these are typically not felt. However, if your surgeon used permanent sutures this could be indeed what you are feeling. To be 100% sure we recommend you speak directly with the surgeon who performed your procedure as he/she knows exactly was used to repair your muscles in the midline....

Most patients who are healthy and have a moderate amount of excess fat under their skin are good candidates for surgery. However a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is BEST to determine your candidacy for surgery. Multiple views and pictures of your skin along with your detailed history including BMI, history of childbirths, etc, are vital to making a proper surgical assessment. Oftentimes patients have excess skin that would best be removed with a tummy tuck...

If you plan on having anything done in the weeks leading up to your BBL surgery it is best to discuss or ask your surgeon what can be done. You don't want to end up with a preventable complication or a surgery cancellation due to information that wasn't disclosed to your surgical team. Each provider has different policies on medications and treatments allowed before and after surgery so it is best to get your provider's input on the matter.

After an injury or surgery scar tissue always forms. The severity of injury and the way your body heals will determine the final outcome. You do appear to have scar tissue under the area of concern. It will take several months for your body to continue to heal after your recent surgery. Nothing can be said with 100% certainty, but it is likely the damage sustained will likely remain that way. Once you have completely healed your options for improvement include scar release alone...

It's hard to make a proper assessment without an actual consult/exam and only one picture. However, from the one picture you are showing it does appear that you have abdominal contour irregularities after liposuction. The best treatment for these is prevention, however sometimes (but not always) this condition can be improved with a revision. Superficial and aggressive liposuction is often the reason for these contour irregularities, but also lack of appropriate postop lymphatic...

If you have any underling anatomical abnormalities such as a lumbar hernia it is best to get this treated and resolved prior to liposuction and BBL. A hernia is an abnormal opening. During liposuction the instruments used to remove fat could enter into this opening and cause a life threatening injury. So it is important to have this repaired well in advance of any elective aesthetic surgery on that part of your body.
