Likely need double incision
Nov 14, 2019
Thanks for your question. It’s important to have a real physical exam to get a sense of the characteristics of your chest tissue. Everyone’s skin and dermis are different, and this can potentially determine what surgical procedure will be best. With that limitation in mind, your pictures do appear to show enough breast/fatty tissue that I think you would not be happy with the outcome of a procedure using an incision only around the areola.
When appropriate, double incision surgery can end up…
Is it okay to get fillers to enhance the jawline while wearing braces?
No problem with getting fillers while in braces
Nov 7, 2019
You should have no problem with getting any fillers while in braces. Please make sure you know the credentials of anyone who may be your injector. It’s important to stay safe as even fillers have produce serious complications.
Is peri-umbilical tummy tucks effective?
Limited procedure with limited indications
Oct 24, 2019
I recently had a patient come into the office asking about this as an alternative to a traditional abdominoplasty or a mini-abdominoplasty. It’s important for patients to understand the goals of all of the surgical options to address the abdominal contour. Different procedures do…

Difficult Botox Related Problems
May 29, 2019
Asymmetry after Botox injection is a common problem. It is often related to imprecise dosing of Botox on each side or imprecise placement of Botox on each side.
Going forward, it is always helpful to keep a record of how much Botox was used in each anatomic area of the face. In addition, the depth of injection is important to record as well. Bring this record to either the same injector or new injector to be able to map out a plan to minimize the change of future asymmetry or…
Can I treat my forehead with Botox without doing it between my eyebrows?
Options for Botox
May 29, 2019
The short answer to your question is “Yes.”
Botox is a neuromodulator that affects the way muscles work. It has a few cosmetic FDA approved uses, and it has been FDA approved for multiple other medical uses including hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), blepharospasm (eyelid muscle twitching), headaches, urinary spasm, and others.
In facial aesthetics, Botox Cosmetic is approved to treat forehead lines associated with the frontalis muscle, glabellar lines associated with the corrugator…
