Thanks for your photos and question. Based on the photos you should have a great result from your Tummy Tuck. Generally speaking, it is unusual that I don’t incorporate some Liposuction as part of a Tummy Tuck. However, with your skin laxity and history of weight loss, your skin is not as likely to shrink to the same extent following Liposuction. Thank you for your photo and question. A tummy tuck will certainly give you a better result and flatter tummy. However, given that your young and don’t have significant loose skin Liposuction alone can give you a good result. If your skin quality is good, it usually will tighten/shrink some after liposuction. Thank you for your question! Based on the photo you submitted, I would recommend a lift, especially if the implant is under the muscle. Although an augmentation alone is possible, you would likely have some loose or sagging tissue hanging off the bottom of the implant and be unsatisfied. If you opt for a larger implant to fill out the skin, the weight of the implant with time will lead to stretching or bottoming out and other issues with time. Good Luck!

Thanks for your question. Sometimes early after surgery you can have some dried blood over the incision. Other times you can have some superficial skin loss, that lifts off after a few days like dry skin and is fine underneath. It it is difficult to tell from the photo, but doesn’t appear to be anything to be too concerned about. Just let your Plastic Surgeon know. They might want to examine you an reassure you that all is well.Hope that helps!

Thank you for your question. Overall it seems like you have healed well. This fullness should be showing some improvement after a month.It is difficult to say much without actually examining you, however you do seem to have fullness of the lower abdomen. The most likely cause is seroma or fluid under the skin. That can fluctuate some day to day, but usually drained in the office. Thank you for your question. It is normal to not have much discomfort. Many of my patients do well with Motrin, but everyone has a different pain tolerance. I don’t see too much bruising in the photo, but some bruising isn’t uncommon. It it is very early and difficult to tell a lot about the breast shape as that generally improves as the implants settle. Thank you for your question! Your scar has healed very well. The dog ears can be easily improved but may require extending the incision slightly. There are also options for improving the appearance of the umbilicus as well. Check with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Good luck.

The answer as to which is best for you is largely up to you. However, my recommendation based only on the photos would be a tummy tuck with Lipo and beast lift. Lipo alone will give you some improvement but likely not what you are hoping for. Certainly not a flat tummy as there will likely be some excess skin as well. Hope that helps! Good luck.

Thanks for your question. You are correct in that it appears you have swelling. However, it appears that you have a good result to this point and are well on your way. I would stay in contact with your surgeon to follow the swelling. Swelling after Lipo can persists for a while. Down the road additional liposuction can be performed if desired. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. Without examining you and getting you breast dimensions it is difficult to give an exact answer. However, based on your photo I would think that a 420 – 450 implant would get you to that size range. Good luck!

Thanks for your question. The issue with a breast implant to improve sagging is that the implant really doesn’t “lift” your breast. It fills out the skin and improves the appearance but doesn’t change the position of the breast itself. I would not expect the implant to lift more with time, if anything, the weight of the implant may produce more stretching over time.That said, a breast lift or mastopexy with a smaller implant would be my recomendation. Thanks for your question. It is difficult without knowing how you were built before surgery or examining you now. However, it appears that you have a great result. That said, if you feel there is too much upper fullness you can correct that with a lower height implant or smaller implant. Generally the pain and discomfort is not as significant in just changing out implants as compare with first placing them.Hope that helps. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks for your question. First, I think with your frame that under the muscle would likely be best. My second concern is that you say you do not want to be overly large and still want to be able to hide your larger breasts. 500-550 cc is a large implant for someone with your proportions. Implants that are too large for you can lead to other problems down the road. This is a personal decision, but you should have as much information before you decide….

At 3 weeks after your surgery it is too early to tell what your final result will be. That said, I’m sure it is concerning to see these areas the way. If these areas area firm, massage may help smooth them. You should still have some inflammation and swelling in the treated areas, so as this improves your result should as well. Just make your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon aware of your concern. They will be able to offer reassurance, or recommendations….
