It appears your belly button may be a bit high but it would be interesting to look at your before photo.  We are all shaped differently.  During most tummy tucks the belly button is detached from your skin but not from your abdomen.  Although plastic surgeons can influence the site of the belly button slightly depending on the length of the stalk, we usually cannot move it drastically.

You did not mention how long ago you had the surgery.  If it was recent, I would be patient and give it 3-6 months of healing.  I would also be aggressive in scar care to maximize the quality of the scar as it heals.  Express your concerns with your surgeon on Monday.

Get a few consultations from board certified plastic surgeons in your area.  Once you get a consultation you will get the information you need to make you feel more comfortable about the possibility of surgery.  You need to find a surgeon you are confident in and find the right time in your life to get a tummy tuck.  Good luck.

Contact your surgeon again.  Complications can happen and don't necessarily indicate that anything was done incorrectly especially when you have had a large scar from previous surgery. You need recommendations on taking care of this now.  I would hold off on wearing the compression garment since it may be too tight and may compromise circulation. 
I was going into upward facing dog and felt as if the flesh under my incision split, can this happen?

If your belly is continuing to swell and you are more uncomfortable, you should see your surgeon again.  Although this is unusual, things can happen.  If stitches were used to tighten the abdominal muscles, there may have been some pulling or tearing of the tissue during your upward facing dog.  Usually observation is indicated unless you have or develop a hematoma.

An issue like this needs to be addressed by your surgeon.  Hopefully they have already told you what may have caused this and how you should be taking care of this.  Any compromise of blood flow or circulation and/or trauma can cause this.  Since there are a variety of ways of managing this, it is best to have your surgeon directly involved.

I would not recommend having an NP or PA remove a lipoma.  Insist on an experienced surgeon such as a plastic surgeon or a general surgeon.

Some surgeons perform liposuction before doing an arm lift either at the time of the lift or sometimes months before.  Some don't do it at all.  It really depends on the preference of the surgeon.  Don't be as concerned about the liposuction as to the final result.  As long as the surgeon understands what you want to accomplish and as long as your expectations are realistic, you'll be happy.  Don't hesitate to ask the surgeon what he/she plans on doing and why.

It sounds like you are trying to self treat yourself. You are obviously doing your homework and sound like you may have some medical training. Usually a hematoma leaves behind pigmentation changes that are very different than the usual hyperpigmentation. Some hyperpigmentation is due to over production of melanin which usually responds to tretinoins and hydroquinone. However hematomas usually leave behind hemosiderin deposits which do not respond to these products....

That would depend on the specifics of the pathology report. Usually if the margins are clear and it was benign, no further treatment is necessary. Sometimes depending on the degree of atypia, further excision may be recommended for further treatment or to assure no recurrence. Regardless, the area should be observed for any signs of recurrence.
