It is possible to have a stitch left inside. It would be important to know what type of suture your doctor used. Often times with dissolvable sutures, the knot is clipped and the remaining suture is left in place to dissolve. I would ask you PS about this -- If you have a good rapport with your doc, you should not have any difficulty asking this question. Best of luck!!

It can take up to 6 months to really see the final results from breast augmentation. Most people see significant progress by 6 weeks. Because your implants are textured, they tend to "stay in place" better than smooth implants. I would bring your concerns to your Plastic Surgeon. You may be feeling the scar tissue in the incision site or, perhaps, a stitch that is underneath the skin. Massage ought to help this resolve, but understand that it can take several months for this to go away. Sometimes the desolvable stitched that are under the skin can work their way to the surface. Your drains do not necessarily need to stay in until all of the blood comes out. The body will reabsorb blood and fluid on it's own. It sounds like your plastic surgeon is managing your post-op course well. Stay in contact with him/her. Any significant increase in drainage, or bright red blood should be evaluated urgently.

This is a little difficult to answer without examining you. The "puffiness" may be due to a seroma, normal post-op swelling, or the difference in the amount of fat underneath the skin above versus below the incision line. If the "puffiness" is due to differences in the amount of subcutaneous fat, liposuction may be a reasonable option. You should discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon, and get his/her opinion on what may be causing the "puffiness."

These tubes can be "stripped" by pinching the the tube close to where it exits your body, then gently pulling the clots toward the reservoir. DO NOT try to irrigate or flush the tubes -- you can end up pushing bacteria inside and create an infection. Two questions... Was the implant placed beneath the muscle?? What type of incision was used?

If a periareolar incision was used, this could be scar tissue. If the implant is under the muscle, it's probably not the implant that you are feeling.
