The treatment approach depends on the deformity. I start with numbing the area with local anesthesia. Then, I would remove some of the skin of the earlobe, so that I can reconstruct it. I use fine sutures that will be removed in 1 to 2 weeks. In most cases, the earlobe can be re-pierced in a place that will be protected from re-injury. This is a very successful procedure, that is well tolerated.

A brow lift is only technically needed in cases where the brow has dropped so low that the vision is obstructed. That being said, many of my patients benefit from an elective brow lift to help them look younger. The brow position should be about 1 cm above the bone orbit rim. Please check that on yourself and make a determination if you would look better by simply raising your brow on one side with your finger and comparing it to the other side.
