1 year post filler a lip granuloma has appeared. Will it go away on its own?
Granulomas
Dec 21, 2018
First, I’m sorry to hear about this occurance, granulomas are a person’s own reaction to foreign substance and they occur more frequently than you think. I have seen them more with non-HA lip fillers. Serial steroid injections (kenalog) and fluorouracil injections are the mainstay In shrinking these granulomas down to a minimum, but not 100% proven either..Stay patient and with time , they will likely improve…keep in touch with your cosmetic physician, excision sho…
I am surprised how poorly I tolerate (terrified) anxiety\pain during dermal filler and similar treatm
Pain relates to fillers
Dec 21, 2018
Very unlikely to get a practitioner to use benzodiazepines, ketamine, or opioids at this time. Laughing Gas aka nitrous oxide, topical BLT, or lidocaine blocks are going to be 99% of what providers are using…Adding ice and the vibrating device intermittently will also help….I also believe that the power of mind over body is real and some individuals are able to dissociate mind from body with some forms of meditations…
What would you advise for a fresher appearance? Concerned about brow area and under eyes when I smile
Fresh look
Apr 27, 2018
Botox is always the easiest way to freshen you up, and a good place to start, done by an experienced injector of course. Next, I would address the midface and lateral cheek area with a product like radiesse or voluma to give you a more youthful appearance and help with the undereye tear trough line. Meanwhile you can use PRP and a product like Sculptra to help naturally build collagen and address volume loss over the long run. Good luck.
Looking to reduce the volume loss in the tear trough area. Will it be worth the extra cost to do a PR
Prf undereye
Apr 27, 2018
Prp/prf is a great long term(2-5 years)solution in helping the body stimulate collagen , but it take a series of 3-6 treatments to visually see results. HA filler is a great short term (1 year) solution for the undereye. In combination, they work best to give you both. If immediate Cost is an issue, then go with the HA filler, but knowing that you will probably pay More in the long term with using short term solutions. Cheers from vegas.
What kind of filler should I get for under my eyes? Are fillers even the best option for me?
Undereye hollow
Apr 24, 2018
Combination therapy is always best using fillers, lasers, topical skincare. Fillers are a good place to start to add volume. I would use a smooth fine filler such as classic restalyne or Belotero performed by an experienced injector. Cheers from sin city.
What has caused hard lumps on my lumps, was I botched?
Lip lumps
Apr 23, 2018
Lumps and bumps are quite common after lip filler injections, they usually resolve within a few weeks with mild massage. You can dissolve these lumps very quickly with hyaluronidase if a hyaluronic acid (restalyne/juvederm/revanesse) filler was used, but I would wait at least 2 weeks. All clinics or injectors using such product should have the reversing agent on standby at all times. Good luck from sin city .
How many treatments of PRP in the eye troughs are needed initially?
PRP under-eye
Apr 19, 2018
I think PRP is a great idea for your case to build collagen and help fill the tear trough, but will need at least 3 sessions about 4-6 weeks apart to start with, and probably 4-6 sessions overall. The results will be long term meaning a few years, and you will require ongoing maintenance sessions 1-2 times per year to keep desired results. I would also combine PRP with ultrasound and radiofrequency for best results. Good luck from Las Vegas .
