How Many Years Can I Get Perlane?
No limit to Perlane injections
Dec 7, 2010
Perlane is made if hyaluronic acid, a natural substance in our skin.  It is a temporary filler since our body slowly break it down. However, our skin itself does not break down and there is no limitation as to how many times you can get Perlane injections. Also, you skin also generates new collagen with repeated injection. You are at a perfect age to have filler injections and there is no problem to have face lift later if you need it.
Should I Be Seeing a Significant “Wearing Off” of Perlane Injections After Only 6 Weeks?
Perlane injection “wearing off” in 6 weeks is not common
Dec 4, 2010
I agree that Perlane injection lasting only 6 weeks is pretty rare. While the exact plane of the injection (i. e. upper dermis, deep dermis, upper subcutaneous, above muscle, etc) affects the longevity of the filler effects,  it in general should still last more than couple of months. I suspect that the initial result you saw was exaggerated by the local swelling immediately after injection. However, it is wise to try something different next time.

Reduce Undesirable Results from Dysport Injection
Nov 2, 2010
Sorry to hear what happened to you. The 3u Dysport is very small amount. However, if the Dysport or Botox is place inside the orbital rim, it could cause more baggy look for some patients. But same injection could also help certain patients with underline wrinkles. That is why the injection of Dysport or Botox is different from patient to patient.

Is it safe to use Retin A under the eyes?
Retin A for wrinkles around the eyes
Aug 5, 2010
Retin-A is great for facial fine wrinkles, including areas around the eyes. As long as you do not get it into the eyelid margin, it is safe. However, since the eyelid skin is very thin and sensitive, you need to start slow to minimize irritation and dryness of the treatment area. Otherwise, the dryness and irritation will make the wrinkles more obvious. Try to start 2-3 times per week and put simple moisturizer on top of it. Once you get used to it, you can use every night. I will suggest…
How to flatten scar post rhinoplasty
Flatten hypertrophic scars
Aug 5, 2010
It is not uncommon to have raised or hypertrophic scars post surgery. Intralesional steroid injection most of the time can soften and flatten the scar. Additional popular options include pulsed dye laser or fractional laser. You should consult your surgeon and see what the best course should be.
glycolic acid 70% – is it too harsh on my skin
Glycolic acid peel for legs
Aug 3, 2010
It sounds like you may have keratosis pilaris besides dull and dry leg skin. While 70% glycolic acid peel may be helpful for you eventually, it may not be the best treatment at the beginning. I will suggest you to try 30-50% glycolic acid peel first and if your skin improves ad tolerates it, you can go up on the concentration. Most people need a series of glycolic acid peels to improve the texture of the skin
