Breast implants can withstand a lot of trauma and pressure. The fact that you did not have bruising or swelling is a good sign. One cannot tell for sure if an implant is ruptured without an exam by an experienced plastic surgeon and some form of imaging such as a mammogram, ultrasound or MRI.
However, silicone implants can spontaneously rupture without any known trauma.

Do you have suggestions why my left breast is more swollen and harder?

You may have a small hematoma around your implant on the left side. If it is getting better, I would wait and see if it resolves on its own. You may end up with everything okay. If you are worried and wish an assessment, I recommend that you see a trusted plastic surgeon for a personal examination and evaluation. Best of luck!

MD is a degree from a medical school, DO from an osteopathic school. Training is very similar at this time. I recommend you find a board certified plastic surgeon that does what you are looking for and you are comfortable with.

Breast Implant Removal Recovery

Yes, implants may be removed under straight local, fairly easily. Recovery will be quick and very little pain. Take 1-2 days off work, no heavy lifting for 2 weeks. I do not remove the capsule unless there is a medical reason to do it.

It depends on your goals and wishes. Do you want a natural slope or more roundness up top?
It also depends on how your muscle and skin stretches to accommodate the implants. During surgery I would perform intraoperative sizing with a sizer and try out 350 and 400 cc and see what suits you the best and looks the best. That way you get the proper size that meets your goals.

Your look is simply from stretched skin from the previous breast implant and lack of breast volume. When the implants were first removed, your body does a remarkable job of shrinking the loose skin of the breasts and reshaping the breasts. However, it may not do it completely and you have some residual loose skin.
