Without knowing all the details of your treatment, the answer to your question is yes they will go down. Swelling is typically at its worst in 24-72 hours post procedure, but can persists for as long as 10 days. The majority of the swelling will resolve in the first few days however. Your question is a great question. Let's talk some basics. Botox amount is usually not discussed in ml rather in units. A typical treatment of 40 units would be (depending on how the physician reconstitutes the Botox) a little less than 1 ml.

I have been injecting Botox for just over ten years and have never had a patient have a reaction to it. That being said, the amount of Botox used for a typical treatment would not put you at risk for a reaction any more than a sub-optimal amount....

Sorry to hear your last few treatments didn't seem to work. 60 units is a lot of Botox for the forehead area and it is surprising it would not work. My first thought is did you truly get that many units. Also, sometimes after successful treatments, in some patients, Botox (or any neurotoxin) can lose it's effectiveness, but that is rare.
