Will a breast augmentation make my wide set breasts look odd?
will breast augmentation make my wide set breasts wider?
Mar 5, 2020
Unfortunately you have not provided a frontal photo so this is a difficult question to answer without all the visual information. If you are referring to the space between your breasts in the midline then this would be made to appear more prominent with breast augmentation, as this space is due anatomically to where your pectoralis muscle attaches to the breast bone. So if you go very large with your implant it will be accentuated creating a larger “valley” between your breasts mound….
What abdominoplasty technique will get me a tight core and be the safest for me so I can do
best abdominoplasty technique
Mar 5, 2020
From your photos it appears that you don’t have a diastasis recti ( laxity between your abdominal muscles- six pack)
It appears that you only have loose skin below the umbilicus and therefore a mini tummy tuck would give you a good result and the core strengthening would occur naturally with your exercise routine. The incision would be designed so that the scar is hidden in by your undergarments or the 2 piece bathing suit.
You would be able to exercise in 2 weeks. However…
After implant rupture and removal, am I at risk again if I get implants a second time? Woul
post removal ofailed silicone implants and total capsulectomy.
Mar 3, 2020
Yes, you can have breast augmentation once again in a dual plane with either silicone or saline implants. Also, the implants will also eventually fail and there is a good chance you will need another surgery after this to maintain the cosmetics of your breasts. Fat grafting is an option but the predictability of the result is not high. Often need multiple procedures to get the effect you are looking for as fat survival can be in the 30-70% range. Also the fat living tissue so if you gain…
Can someone with cardiomyopathy have tummy tuck?
cardiomyopathy and tummy tuck
Feb 27, 2020
The answer is yes. However this needs be done in conjunction with a cardiologist and cardiac function needs to be maximized. Also you would spend a minimum of 1 night overnight in a hospital perhaps even 2-3 to make sure you are doing well.
Can I get a tattoo before my tummy tuck?
tatooing and tummy tuck
Feb 27, 2020
It would be wise to wait approximately 6 months after your tummy tuck as if you have it placed before the surgery you may lose part of the tattoo if it is placed on skin that is removed with the tummy tuck.
To determine what skin will be removed is at best a guestimate, and as occurs not infrequently, more skin is excised than was anticipated. So if you try to place the tattoo in a safe skin region prior to the procedure you may be disappointed.
The reason I would wait…
Breast Augmentation Recovery: What Can I Expect?
Recovery after breast augmentation
May 14, 2019
Breast augmentation in my practice is an out patient procedure. The surgery is performed in a hospital affiliated surgery center with the anesthesia administered by a board certified anesthesiologist. Your recovery is very quick and if you have a desk type job you could have surgery on a Friday and be back to work on a Monday.
Post-option routine is as follows:
Don’t do anything to raise your heart rate or blood pressure for 2 weeks to avoid bleeding.
See you day 1 post-on, day 4, and on d…

Tubular breasts
May 14, 2019
You do not have tubular breasts. You have under developed breasts. You are a perfect candidate for breast augmentation. You would get a very nice result. Good luck
Will 415cc too big for me? Will be D cup? Or DD?
Will 415 cc be to big for me?
May 2, 2019
As a rule of thumb to increase a cup size requires 190 cc. You do have to remember that cup size is not the most important factor. You want to look great in and out of cloths. You have a nice shaped breast and you want to maintain that. The idea is to use the smallest size implant to create the effect you want. You do have to remember that with augmentation you will accelerate the aging of your breast as the increased weight plus the passage of time greater sagging will occur…
8 weeks post-op. Why isn’t my incision fully healing?
Wound healing issue
Apr 25, 2019
I agree with all of the expert answers that have been given. It could be 1) the most common is a stitch abscess- it does not mean there is an infection. It is actually your body ‘spitting’ out a stitch. This is not uncommon and will heal with local wound care as suggested. Unfortunately the scar in this area may not be cosmetically the best and may require revision in a year or so. 2) are you applying any creams or vit E to the incision site? This could also be irritating the…
Breast augmentation and work. What are my options if I do not want to take off nor do I want to ta
Retrun to work and physical activity post- BA
Mar 28, 2016
Each physician has his own protocol and preferences. Mine are as follows. If you have a desk job you can have surgery on a Friday and be back to work on the following Monday. We don’t want you to do anything that increases your heart rate or blood pressure for 2 weeks after surgery. At 2 weeks you can start low impact aerobic, weights with your lower limbs and light weights with your upper. At 4 weeks you can start high impact aerobics. Always wear a very supportive sports bra when you do…
Wondering about shape and distance between breasts. Any suggestions?
Shape and distance between breasts
Mar 28, 2016
I am assuming that you had your implants placed submuscular. The distance between your breasts is determined by where your pectoralis major muscle attaches  to the breast bone on either side. That is why pre-op the intermammary distance is measured to predict normal space which is 3-3.5 cm. The fact the you went very big ( I realize you wanted to go bigger) brings out the visual  distance between your breasts. If you had smaller implants with less projection the depth of the space between…
Do I need a lift? Or will an augmentation do just fine?
Do I need a lift
Mar 23, 2016
If your nipple lies below a line that you draw along the crease from the transition from breast tissue to the upper abdomen ( Infra mammary fold) then a lift is required. If your nipples lie at or above that line then a breast augmentation will work well for you. From your photo it looks like a breast augmentation alone will achieve a pleasing cosmetic result. Good luck
I’m 5’1″, 115 lbs, 34A looking to go to a 34 C. Ideally I just want a natural look. Any suggestion
Looking to go from 34A to 34C
Mar 23, 2016
As a rule of thumb to increase 1 cup size you need to add 190cc so to go up 2 cup sizes would be 380cc. Therefore 375 cc should achieve what you want. Just a word if warning. Your left nipple areolar complex points slightly outward compared to the right in your photo. There is the possibility post-augmentation that this discrepancy may increase. ie point more outward. There is nothing that can be done to prevent this. You just have to be aware that this is an anatomical issue and that this…

Will 325 or 345 give me a full B/small C?
Mar 23, 2016
As a rule of thumb to increase one cup size in a normal sized lady takes about 190cc. Therefore if you want to go up 2 cups sizes it would be about 380cc. Since you want to increase to a full B/ small C 325/345 should achieve your goal. A good way to assess this is by taking sandwich bags and fill them with rice or water to 325cc and place beneath a sports bra. Look in the mirror. If this looks good to you then you have a good idea of the size you should choose. Of course the final decision…
Is a regular Breast Augmentation best for me?
Breast augmentation best for me?
Mar 16, 2016
A dual plane breast augmentation with silicone would give you a nice result. From the photos there is no reason to consider a lift. I would approach it through a periareolar incision rather than inframammary as that scar will always be visible and may even be visible in a bra or bikini when you raise your arms causing the bikini top  to ride up exposing the scar. Nipple sensation and breast feeding are not issues with this approach. If you are 21 years or over then you can have silicone…
