I don’t think capsular contracture is possible this early. Maybe post some of your photos before this last operation my make it easier to offer advice. The bump could be a small hematoma or capsular tear related to pectoralis contracture . It is never a bad idea to seek another opinion from a board certified plastic surgeon if you are not satisfied with answers
24 days post abdominal lipo, I continue to have these hard rolls, what do I do?

I think 4-5 times a day aggressive massage may help the rolls. I wouldn’t try anything else for at least 3 months. You still may need a skin removal procedure as you appear to have skin laxity. Did you use a board certified plastic surgeon? If not, you might benefit from seeking another opinion.

Only saline implants can be placed easily through an axillary approach. Nobody knows if cohesive gel implants will ever need to be replaced or not since they have not been around that long. I don’t think you have tuberous breasts. You only have ptosis, or drooping of the breasts. This would be treated by a breast lift. You could have implants placed if you want to be larger than you are now. If you are happy with your breast volume, no implants would be needed. Breast implants and breast lift can be performed at the same time in some patients depending on the size of implants and the degree of breast lift required.

Some plastic surgeons feel it is unsafe to perform liposuction on the same area where the skin Is lifted and pulled down. Other plastic surgeons, like myself, feel conservative liposuction of the deep fat is safe at the same time as abdominoplasty. You certainly have swelling that will decrease over the next four to six months. Even some patients that have abdominal liposuction at the same time as abdominoplasty require additional liposuction at another time….

At this point we would call it a dog ear. A dog ear is the point that exists right next to an area where excess skin has been removed. There is a relative skin excess right where skin removal stops. From your photo it seems almost certain that this will completely flatten out. Try to be patient

You should be prepared for at least a 3 week stay for suture removal and short term follow up. There are certainly many well trained plastic surgeons at international destinations. Make sure you know the credentials of the surgeon, where they trained, board certification status, etc. Having corrective work done back in the United States can get expensive. Good luck

It is very common for the pectoralis muscle to push the implants upwards. This occurs more often than not. The bandeau can help a great deal to speed the process of the implants dropping into the appropriate position. Some want to wear a bra in addition to the bandeau but this decreases its effectiveness. Try to be patient. They will get better.

It is very difficult to answer this question without your photos. We all have tuberous breast patients with photos but the spectrum of what is required to treat them is quite varied. Great job on your weight loss! That is the hardest part. With a history of a 45 pound weight loss , you would almost certainly benefit from a full tummy tuck. Most of the stretch marks in the lower abdomen below the belly button would be removed. It is hard to tell for sure until an exam how much skin could be removed. Make sure you find a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Congratulations on your weight loss. That is the hardest part. Any weight you lose on your own is always better than anything we can do at surgery. Having said that, you have already lost 115 pounds on your own. If you have reached a plateau and are not losing any more weight it is probably fine to proceed with surgery. Most areas of contouring including abdomen/trunk, thighs, and arms would undergo additional fat removal in addition to skin removal….

Most breast implant patients require 3 to 4 weeks to settle into place. Sometimes this can be accelerated by wearing a bandeau which pushes the implants down and to the center. It is used more often in sub muscular augmentation. Ask your plastic surgeon if one might help you if you are not yet using one.

I think walking on a flat treadmill below 4 mph is probably ok after tummy tuck and major breast revision. I would wait for walking on incline or stair master until at least a month. Brisk exercise may increase drain outputs and increase the time they need to stay in or require needle aspiration following their removal
