Hello and thank you for your question. I usually place an abdominal binder on my patients right on the operating room table as soon as we are finished with their procedure. They will wear the binder until their drains are removed (usually 10-14 days). After that they will wear a compression garment for about 6-8 weeks. Thank you for sharing your question and pictures. From what you described, in order to achieve the desired look you would need a lift. A lift would help reduce the size of your areola, and also address the “sagging”. With a lift you have to understand the amount of scars that are involved, and potential changes in nipple sensitivity. Thank you for sharing your pictures. From your pictures it doesn’t appear to be anything concerning. Sometimes the deeper sutures can make the early scar appear puckered. Thank you for your question and pictures. Some degree of swelling and asymmetry can be expected in the immediate post-operative period, however, 2 cup sizes is quite significant and not normal. From your description it maybe a hematoma and only a portion of it has liquified (what was seen on imaging).
