It’s difficult to determine a lot from the picture, but I believe the answer will be the same, regardless. Do not attempt to “hold it closed”. It would become likely to be infected. I suggest you do a simple wet-to-dry dressing on it daily. It will heal over in the next few weeks. It may end up perfectly normal, or you may want a simple scar revision in that area, but it will be many months before you’ll know. Ask your surgeon about how to do ...

If you determine that you absolutely want areolar reduction, I suggest you do it separately from augmentation, and do it well before, at least 4 months.I would strongly urge you to re-evaluate though. Your areolae are completely normal. And not like “on the big side, but technically normal”. They are average normal. Normal normal. Consider simply doing the aug, and leave all else alone.

It appears that everything is healing adequately. You’ll want to wait at least 4-6 months before considering revision. Everything will need to be fully healed, and enough time given to allow for scar maturation and softening.

I don’t think it was Botox. It may have been a filler. If it was an HA-based filler, and you absolutely don’t like the effect, you can have an injection of hyaluronidase to “dissolve” it. You should confirm with the clinic what was injected.

Generally 6 weeks will be adequate. It will be important that you ease yourself into a regimen. Be aware that heavy upper body excercise could slow the descent of the implants.

Things should be getting better very quickly now. If you’re in pain, don’t hesitate to take your pain meds. It’ll be fine.
