Yes, it is very likely that IPL treatment will be quite successful in ligthening and removing the dark spots pictured above. However results are likely user dependent and will likely need 2-3 treatments for best results. Also, IPL used on the body must be done carefully and with lower energies to avoid burning the skin. Hence, the need for multiple treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

Based upon the pictures provided Hyaluronic acid fillers would be my first form of treatment to help replace lost volume in the linear depression. There are many different types of filler to choose from, but I would likely start with juvaderm vollure since it tends work well in areas with dynamic movememnt such as the chin when smiling. Also vollure lasts 1.5 years which is longer than other similar fillers,
Is it safe to have 8 sessions of Vanquish instead of just 6?

Yes, it is safe to undergo 8 sessions of vanquish or 10 or 12… In general Vanquish is meant to be administered in multiple treatments. There is no maximum number of treatments however, I generally redcommend performing 2 per week to allow enough time for your body to process the treated fat. Also, drinking lots of water during your treatment course is super important to help your body remove the unwanted fatty areas.
