It is possible that the tightness and pulling that you are experiencing is the pectoralis muscles going into spasm. I would suggest that you follow up regularly with your plastic surgeon and report any changes.Hope this helps.

Hello,The good news is that the fluid is draining out and not getting trapped in the breast creating what we call a seroma. However, if you are still draining several days after the drains have been removed, I would place a call to your plastic surgeon's office and see what he/she thinks. Hello,Patients often complain of discomfort from their tissue expanders. The port can often be felt just underneath the skin as the skin is thin from the mastectomy procedure. Just remember that they are temporary and the permanent silicone gel implants are much more comfortable.Good luck!

It is very soon to judge the final breast size only 5 days from an augmentation. You need to allow time for the swelling to resolve... which can take weeks.

Thank you for your question. It doesn't appear you have symmastia, however, the implants are close and may have shifted over time. Are they above the muscle or below? The incision seems to have healed well from the photo... I would suggest discussing your concerns with your plastic surgeon.

Thank you for your question. The best way to enhance your breast size is to use either a breast implant or your own tissue (fat). Considering you work out a lot, you may not have much fat to give up. However, this is a great way to remove some of the unwanted fat you may have at other areas of your body and increase the size of your breasts, without using a prosthetic device such as an implant. I suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss the procedures...

Thank you for your question. Your incisions appear to be healing very well. I would advise you to wait at least 4-6 months before seeing the final result. Silicone is the most effective treatment in scar management. As an alternative to the sheets though, BioCorneum is a great product that works in a similar way. It's a gel that you apply to the scars twice a day that dries like a "silicone sheet." Much easier than applying the sheets daily. Hope this helps!

Swimming at 4weeks post-op should be ok as long as your incisions are 100% closed. I would check with your plastic surgeon before you leave to be sure. Have fun!

Thank you for your question. The pain should be somewhat more tolerable this time around because the pocket is already in place, it's just a matter of switching out the implant. By 1 week post-op you should be ok to return to work, however, I would check with your surgeon first and see how you feel when the time comes. Everyone is different and handles their post-operative period differently. Good luck!

Thank you for your photos. It does appear you have a mild double bubble; the implant has fallen below the fold and you would need a surgical revision to correct this. However, it's best to wait until after your pregnancy at this point, as the breasts may change. Good luck!
