Can I have facial before microneedling?
Facial Before Microneedling
Feb 25, 2019
We included a mini facial as part of our microneedling protocol. I believe the minifacial helps to hydrate and cleanse the skin before the treatment (and the clients love the mini facial too). I would not suggest an aggressive medical facial in conjunction however.
I use Retin-A lotion a few times a week mainly to prevent breakouts. I'm 39. What facial treatments wo
HydraFacial
Feb 25, 2019
I love the HydraFacial in conjunction with Retin-a. The Hydrafacial is a greatly monthly treatment that exfoliates and cleanses your skin. I would also combine this with a series of facials with superficial chemical peels, or very strong stand-a-lone peels such as VI peel or PCA (without the facial).
How long after fillers before I can get a deep pore facial?
2 Weeks
Feb 25, 2019
We recommend two weeks after dermal filler injections to get a facial, but sometimes could be sooner depending on where you were injected. Always ask you dermatologist or injector if you are considering getting a facial or another treatment!
My Vi peels never seem to stick. The results fade over months and my skin goes back to being damaged.
Continue Maintenance
Feb 25, 2019
Your skin requires continue maintenance. A chemical peel is great for reversing the signs of aging by exfoliating your skin. A series of chemical peels will work magic on helping boost the appearance of skin texture and tone. For instance, every time you go outside without sunblock you are causing damage to your skin. Chemical Peels dont protect against future sun damage. I would recommend visiting a board certified dermatologist who can help correct your skin...
Will I still peel 3 days after applying Vi Peel for the 5th time?
Well exfoliated skin can mean less Peeling
Feb 25, 2019
I agree with the other physicians. Even though you may not see visible peeling because you are already well exfoliated, on a cellular level the chemical peel is working on helping to improve the appearance of you skin texture and tone. The Vi Peel is a great treatment, but it may be also time to mix up your regimen by consulting your board certified dermatologist.
Got a Vi Peel and peeling is done, but skin is still all red and is chapped. Today is day 6. When will
Typical downtime 7-10 days.
Feb 25, 2019
Love the VI Peel. The redness will go away. I typically see the most peeling on days 4 and 5, but redness can continue up to a week or more. I usually tell me patients to grab some aquaphor at their local pharmacy to protect there skin. Stay hydrated and protect your skin with sunblock as well.
What’s the best way and cost for removing this mole next to my eyebrow?
Mole Removal
Nov 8, 2018
A formal evaluation of the mole with a board certified dermatologist would be a good place to start. The removal could be performed by them, a plastic or general surgeon. Best of luck!
