I frequently suggest a phenol/crotin oil peel for patients with alligator type skin, especially if they are a little older. With mild sedation, the face can be treated with minimal down time and very impressive results. Unlike the laser, there is not much pigment change and no prolonged redness.

My two brothers are cadiologists and we have this situation frequently. You need a cardiologist workup and clearance. They will probably get an ultrasound and look at the valve diameter and leaflets. They will calculate your heart function (cardiac output). If all these are not too bad, you will be a good candidate for surgery.

Tubular Breasts- It is not uncommon for my patients to have a tubular breast with a tight band around the areola. I treat these with two approachs. First, I always perform a periareolar reduction with a donut of skin being removed around the areola. This flattens out the areola and gets rid of the Snoop look to the breasts.
