You will not have a very good result with liposuction only. You will have loose skin. What you need is a tummy tuck with some liposuction.
It may be your CS, not being trained in the full spectrum of cosmetic surgery, has only one tool to offer. See another real plastic surgeon to help clarify you better options. There is a difference in training.
