You should notice a difference right away after your procedure. After a week you should see a difference. Yes, it does take 6 weeks to 3 months for a lot of the skin edema (swelling, lumps and bumps) to resolve but you should see a difference. In your photos I do not see a significant difference. Hi. Great question. As long as you are just having liposuction, fat harvesting and fat injection into the buttuck you have very little true “down time”. Just 24 hours or so as long as you are healthy and heal well afterward. You want to make sure you follow your post op instruction to the “T” that your surgeon provided. Having said that, I encourage all my patients to start a mild cardiovascular exsercise program, within reason, immediately after surgery. This encourage cardiac output, blood flow, and wellness.
