HALO and the CO2 laser are 2 different treatments. They are both resurfacing but the CO2 goes deeper (full ablative) and the downtime can be quite extensive. At our practice, we recommend waiting 2 weeks to get Halo after a filler procedure, and that is mostly to allow the swelling and bruising to resolve and let the filler settle into the tissue. There is no problem with waiting longer but I wouldn't treat sooner than 2 weeks after having any filler.
If I get botox in my lip, can it mess up my smile?

Typically, Botox is injected immediately above or below the lips to create a subtle "lip flip". This is often used in conjunction with filler. We only inject a small amount of Botox to prevent paralysis or a "frozen" feeling of the lips and mouth. If too much Botox is injected, you may experience slight lip paralysis, heaviness, difficulty chewing or using straws, or problems with pronouncing certain letters. This is all temporary and usually resolves between 2-3 months.

We do not use Botox on that area of the face because relaxing those muscles can lead to undesirable effects, such as drooping of the lips. You can, however, use a dermal filler in the cheek to create more volume and lift in the midface, thus softening that deep fold on your cheek. You should also consider getting filler in the nasolabial folds to help soften the area. Combined treatment of both areas would give you a beautiful and natural result.

Your lips appear to be fairly full so adding more filler may produce an unnatural and overfilled look. There are different types of fillers, however. You could use a soft filler, such as Volbella, to work on improving the border and cupids bow, or the new Restylane Kysse, which can add a slight plump and a crisp border. Each syringe is 1ml and I would suggest only getting one syringe at one time. Hope that answers your question!

It is not uncommon to have genetic characteristics that require Blepharoplasty at an earlier age. It is sometimes necessary to include a lateral Brow Lift to soften and open the eyes as well as the removal of excess skin and fatty deposits.I think you would benefit from an Upper Blepharoplasty and possible lateral Brow Lift.
