This type of surgery is performed to remove excess, loose, hanging skin/fat and to tighten stretched muscles. While patients will lose some weight (~3 - 6 lbs), they don't lose a lot. However, they do end up with a flatter abdomen, tighter abdominal muscles, and better waistline. you will see more of body contouring .

After a tummy tuck, it is important to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables to stay regular. Drink plenty of water to help reduce swelling. I recommend eating as healthy as you can you don't want to gain weight and mess up your beautiful results but lots of fiber and protein.
