He has received numerous awards from eminent organizations – American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation (OMSF), Oral Cancer Foundation (OCF), National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) – and has published in many scientific journals regarding jaw surgery and facial reconstruction which were published in Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Craniomaxillofacial Trauma & Reconstruction. His most recent published research includes bone graft using stem cells in the oral and maxillofacial region, funded by Osteo Science Foundation.
