Thanks so much for your question. Nothing substitutes for the opinion of your personal board-certified plastic surgeon, but going just a quarter centimeter over is probably not much risk. More of a risk is large implants. Complication rate goes up as implant size goes up with a sharp rise in the curve over 400cc. Thanks so much for your question. Endometrial ablation should be a fairly quick outpatient procedure. I’m sure your Ob/Gyn has or will go over all risks & benefits as well as probably offer advice on how long you should recover before having another procedure. In general a safe recovery period of 4-6 weeks should suffice for you to be “out of the woods” from the ablation and be ready for a more formidable procedure such as abdominoplasty.

Abdominoplasty removes not just skin, but the fat below the belly button down to public area off the abdominal wall. Often liposuction and/or some other fat-reduction technique is used for the upper abdomen and flanks.
