Thank you for your question. One of the advantages of saline implants is that in a situation like yours they can easily be deflated in the office. This will allow both you and your surgeon to see what your breasts look like with no implant so that you can determine what size implant you would like at this point (if any) and whether or not you would benefit from a lift as well.

The extensive bruising shown in your photos is not normal.  You should call your surgeon today and let him know what is going on. You need to be evaluated in person to determine if you do have a hematoma and if you do then your surgeon will need to take you back to the OR remove the blood.

Thank you for your question.  Your concern is understandable.  While it is not unusual to have a small wound opening at the “T junction” beneath the breast, the surrounding redness and the smell are worrisome and this really should be seen and evaluated by your surgeon ASAP.
