Does Medicaid Cover Dental Implants?
Medicaid Implants
Jan 31, 2018
Medicaid doesn’t cover implants. It doesn’t cover any elective procedure, especially on any of your back teeth.
How many syringes of lip filler would be appropriate to make my lips appear fuller but still nat
The amount of filler for lips
Jun 13, 2016
Dear nawornawor, First, I would like to note
that you have beautiful lips.

If you want a bit of
enhancement, I would need less than one syringe. I would start with ½ to make
sure that your lips do not get too plump.

My new front tooth crown is a little loose, and I’m bleeding between my two front teeth. Should
Loose crowns and bleeding gums
Jun 13, 2016
Dear ashjohnson4536, You should contact your
dentist ASAP. Was a crown cemented with temporary cement? If yes, why? If it
was permanently cemented, the crown being loose and bleeding gums around it are
not good signs.
What would be the best solution to fix this?
A solution for chipped teeth
Jun 13, 2016
Dear lisa monte, That was absolutely the
dentist’s job to make sure that your front teeth are even after she completed
the composite procedure. You should go back to your dentist to get the
necessary adjustments.
Temporary crown had no issues; permanent crown is a painful disaster! Any suggestions?
A tooth under the temporary crown is painful
Jun 13, 2016
Dear tonydweaver, Have you returned to your
dentist for an evaluation of your bite? Did the tooth under the crown have a
root canal treatment? Additional information is needed in order to find what’s
causing so much discomfort. It sounds like it might be the bite problem, but it
has been almost a year since you had it inserted. I would go back to your
dentist for re-evaluation.

Working with a Prosthodontist
Jun 13, 2016
Dear becuteforme,If you have been satisfied
with all previous work, you should not hesitate to go ahead with your existing
prosthodontist.

Schools have good labs, and
many times, a technician is available for personal color matching. The student
can spend as much time as needed making sure that you’re satisfied with the
final aesthetic result.

Can having too much work on a tooth cause it to die?
Can having too much work on a tooth cause it to die?
Jun 13, 2016
Dear dental hell, Unfortunately yes. Prepping
and re-prepping teeth leaves less and less healthy tooth structure away from
the nerve. Your dentist should evaluate the actual cause of pain: minimal tooth
structure left or possibly ill-fitting temporary crowns. I would not recommend
placing the final bridge until you’re sure that no root canal treatment is
needed.
